FEATURES
  • Allows the call taker to use one headset for both radio and telephone communication.

  • Can use either four wires or six wire headsets.

  • Allows connection of second Headset Box giving the PSAP Supervisor the ability to listen to the conversation.

  • Equipped with two RJ11 connectors with loop current for both short and long-term phone recording and another set of RJ11 connectors for both short and long-term radio recording.

  • Phone recording outputs are muted when phone system is on-hook for proper VOX operation.

  • Recording outputs are muted when radio console lines (squelch, channel busy, ptt) are selected via dip switch to ensure proper VOX operation.

  • Radio console lines (squelch, channel busy, ptt, mic off, receive audio, transmit audio, ground) are electrically isolated from the telephone system using transformers and optical isolation circuits.

  • Sound card input is provided to play pre-recorded sound files to both the phone and radio systems.

  • Short-term recording outputs for both phone system and radio console are also provided with proper levels and matching for PC sound card recording.

  • External connections are provided for call takers headset microphone mute switch and PTT switch.

  • Headset volume control for both the phone system and radio console.
